Terratetto plurifamiliare in Civita d'Antino

The cluster sits in the upper Liri valley with the central Apennines close around it, and the Simbruini mountains rise immediately to the west on the Lazio border. The Liri river runs through this part of the valley. The western side of the 15 km area reaches the Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise National Park around Bisegna and the Cicerana reserve lies nearby above the valley. The nearest substantial town is Avezzano, which provides the main rail and road services, hospitals and larger shops for this part of inland Abruzzo. This stretch of Marsica is known for mountain villages above a river valley and for access into the protected Apennine interior.
