Terratetto

This cluster is in the built-up area of Arezzo, so the resident setting is an inland city on the Val di Chiana side of eastern Tuscany rather than open countryside. The Pratomagno range rises to the north-west within this area, and the upper Tiber valley and Casentino are the main surrounding valleys. The Arno basin is part of the local geography. The nearest substantial town is Arezzo itself, with a large historic centre, Roman and medieval remains, major churches and museums, and regular rail links toward Florence and Rome. The city is known for Piero della Francesca, goldsmithing and the monthly antiques fair.
