Via Verli, 18, Airola

The cluster lies at the foot of the Partenio mountains in the Campanian Apennines. The Partenio Regional Park covers this massif, with beech woods and limestone slopes above the inhabited belt. The nearest ski lifts are at Laceno, around 1 hour 15 minutes by road, so they are not part of the immediate landscape. The nearest larger towns are Avellino and Benevento, which provide the usual services, rail connections and administrative functions. This area is known for chestnuts, woodland products and small-scale farming along the Caudina valley.
