Via Varoni, Montesarchio

The cluster is at the foot of the Partenio Mountains, with Monte Partenio and the Montevergine massif close by. This area falls within the Partenio Regional Park. The nearest ski lifts are at Laceno, well beyond the 15 km radius and roughly an hour or more by road, so they are not part of the immediate landscape. The nearest larger towns are Avellino and Benevento, which provide the main services, rail links and larger shopping and administrative functions. The area is known for wooded mountain slopes above a settled valley corridor between the Irpinia interior and the Caserta plain.
