FABBRICATO E TERRENI - Vergato (BO)

The cluster is in the northern Apennines, in the Reno valley and close to the Corno alle Scale massif. Corno alle Scale Regional Park lies within this mountain area, with Monte Cimone and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine ridge forming the wider skyline. The nearest ski lifts are those of Corno alle Scale, roughly half an hour by road depending on the hamlet. Porretta Terme is the nearest town of some size, with rail links, thermal facilities and everyday services. This part of the Bolognese Apennines is known for chestnut woods, mountain valleys and the historic road and rail route between Bologna and Tuscany.
