Asta fabbricato a Aprigliano (CS) Contrada Muso di Bove,

The cluster sits in the hilly interior of northern Calabria on the western slopes of the Calabrian Apennines; terrain within ~15 km is a mix of small agricultural plots, woodland and low wooded ridges. The provincial capital Cosenza lies within a short drive and provides a regional railway station, hospital services, secondary schools, theaters and other urban services; the University of Calabria campus is at nearby Rende. There are no major national-park or UNESCO protections immediately adjacent and no ski lifts within the immediate area; the local economy is based on small-scale farming, forestry and commuting into Cosenza.
