Luminosa villa rustica con ampio terreno

The cluster is in the built-up area of Corigliano-Rossano on the Ionian side of Calabria, so the lived setting is a large urban fabric spread across the plain and low hills. The Sila massif rises inland to the west, but it is outside the immediate 15 km landscape. The Ionian coast is nearby, with long beach stretches around Schiavonea and Rossano Scalo. Corigliano has the Ducal Castle in the historic centre, and Rossano is known for its old hilltop centre and for the Codex Purpureus Rossanensis, a UNESCO Memory of the World manuscript kept in the diocesan museum. The area is known for citrus and olive cultivation on the plain.
