Pontassieve, Località Rosano.

The cluster sits in the Valdarno hills east of Florence, with mixed farmland, olive groves, woods and ridgelines rather than a single dominant landform. The Arno valley is nearby, and the river runs through this part of the province below the surrounding slopes. The nearest large city is Florence, which provides the full range of services, rail connections, major monuments and museums. This area is known for the Tuscan hill landscape of villas, farm estates, vineyards and olive cultivation.
