Terreno con porzione di fabbricato in corso di costruzione - Sora (FR)

The cluster sits in the upper Liri valley with the Abruzzo-Lazio Apennines close around it, at the edge of the Roveto area. The Liri River runs through this stretch of valley. The immediate landscape is a narrow farmed valley floor with wooded mountain slopes rising on both sides. Balsorano has a castle above the settlement, and within the same valley Sora is the nearest town of size with full everyday services and rail links. The area is known locally as the Roveto valley, historically tied to orchards and mountain villages between Abruzzo and the Ciociaria side of Lazio.
