Rustico in Badalucco

The cluster is in the Argentina valley, with Ligurian Alps ridges close behind the village and the river Argentina running through Badalucco. The upper valley leads toward the mountains above Triora and the regional park of the Ligurian Alps lies inland in this part of western Liguria. The nearest ski area is Monesi di Triora, reached by a mountain road in roughly an hour from Badalucco. Arma di Taggia and Taggia are the nearest larger centres for everyday services, while Sanremo is the main town in the area with a full range of shops, hospital and rail connections. Badalucco is known in the valley for olive groves and Taggiasca olive oil, and Triora farther up the valley is a well-known historic hill village.
