Villa unifamiliare in Carmiano

This is the inland Salento plain around Lecce, with flat to lightly undulating farmland of olive groves, vineyards and walled fields. The nearest coast is the Ionian shore around Porto Cesareo, and the Adriatic coast near Lecce is at a similar everyday distance, but neither is inside the immediate 15 km landscape. Lecce is the nearest town of size, with a large historic centre and major Baroque churches and palaces. The area is known for Salento agriculture and for being part of the Lecce hinterland.
