**Casale da Ristrutturare a Borghetto Lodigiano**

This is the lower Po plain around the Po River, with flat agricultural land and scattered irrigation channels. The Po runs nearby, and the Lambro also crosses the municipal area before joining the Po. The most notable feature within the area is the castle complex at Chignolo Po, known as the Castello Procaccini Alberoni. The nearest larger centres in daily use are Pavia and Lodi, which provide rail links, hospitals and full services. The area is known mainly for arable farming in the Po Valley.
