Casa colonica in Ceriano Laghetto

This is in the built-up belt north-west of Milan, with the Groane heath-and-pinewoods area immediately around it; Parco delle Groane is the main local landscape feature within reach. The area is largely suburban and industrial-residential, with continuous settlement toward Saronno and the Milan conurbation. Saronno is the nearest larger town and provides rail links, services and a historic centre. Milan is the main city for work, transport and amenities, but it does not improve the landscape score because the cluster lies in its outer urban belt.
