San Severino Marche - Loc. Pitino: casa affiancata con contributo per la ristrutturazione

The area sits in the upper Potenza valley with cultivated hills and the first ridges of the central Apennines close by. The Potenza river runs through San Severino Marche. The Monti Sibillini are the main mountain range to the west, with Sibillini National Park beginning farther into the inland part of the province. San Severino Marche itself is the nearest substantial town and has a large historic centre with the long oval Piazza del Popolo, civic buildings and services. Elcito, the small fortified hamlet in the hills above the valley, is within this area. This part of inland Marche is known for hill towns, mixed farming and the transition from the river valleys to the Apennine foothills.
