Via Circumvallazione Esterna, Qualiano

This is the northwestern plain of Naples, in the built-up belt between Villaricca, Giugliano and the edge of the Campi Flegrei. The nearest major natural feature is the Phlegraean volcanic area around Pozzuoli, with crater landscapes and the coast, but it lies outside the immediate 15 km living radius for this cluster. Naples is the nearest large city and provides the full range of services, transport, hospitals and universities. The area is known mainly for dense suburban expansion on the inland side of the Gulf of Naples.
