Rustico in Momo

The cluster sits on the flat agricultural plain of the lower Po Valley. The local landscape within 15 km is dominated by arable fields and rice paddies with a network of irrigation canals and drainage ditches. There are no named mountains, lakes or national/regional parks inside a 15 km radius. Nearest ski lifts are in the southern foothills of the Alps; those are well over 15 km away (roughly a 1–1.5 hour drive). The nearest town of size is Novara (a regional city with a mainline railway station offering direct trains to Milan and Turin, hospitals, secondary schools and full shopping/services), located a few kilometres to the south. The area is part of the agricultural and industrial belt around Novara; it is known locally for cereal and rice production. Milan Malpensa airport and the Alpine foothills are reachable by car but lie outside the 15 km area.
