Via Archimede, 5, Mezzojuso

Hilly inland landscape in the Palermo province consisting of mixed farmland (olive and almond groves, cereals) with patches of Mediterranean scrub and small wooded areas. No major named mountain range or national/regional park lies within about 15 km of the cluster. The nearest large city and provincial capital is Palermo (regional transport, an international airport and wide services are available there, roughly 30 km away). Several small towns and villages in the surrounding area provide basic shops, municipal services and local markets. Mezzojuso is an Arbëreshë (Italo-Albanian) community and the area retains elements of that cultural heritage.
