Via Cavaizza, Codevigo

The cluster lies on the southern Venetian plain between the Bacchiglione and Brenta water systems, in flat reclaimed farmland with drainage canals and lagoon-edge wetlands. The Venetian Lagoon is nearby, and the southern lagoon landscape around Chioggia and the mouths of the Brenta and Adige shapes the area more than any hill or mountain. The nearest town of size is Chioggia, which has a historic centre, fishing port and daily services; Padova is the main larger city for higher-order services. The area is known for market gardening, reclaimed agricultural land and the lagoon-fishing environment.
