Frantoio a Collazzone (PG) Località Il Pino

The cluster sits in the low hills of central Umbria on the western foothills of the Monti Martani range. There is no sea or large lake within the 15 km radius; the location is inland. There are agricultural landscapes in the immediate area: olive groves, arable fields and small patches of woodland. Nearest towns with regular services include the medieval hill town of Todi and the provincial town of Marsciano, both reachable by short drives and offering shops, markets and municipal services. Perugia (provincial capital, university city and transport hub with an airport) lies to the north at roughly 20–30 km. Ski lifts are on the higher Apennines well outside the 15 km radius and require a longer drive. The area is part of central-Umbria countryside traditionally associated with olive-oil production and mixed hill farming.
