Quarrata (pt) – ampio casolare colonico da ristrutturare

The cluster sits on the Pistoia plain at the southern edge of the Tuscan‑Emilian Apennines with wooded foothills rising a few kilometres to the north. There are no large lakes inside 15 km; small streams and river channels drain the plain and the nearby hill country. The Parco Nazionale dell'Appennino Tosco‑Emiliano lies further into the higher Apennines to the north, beyond the immediate foothills. Nearest ski areas and lifts are at Cutigliano and Abetone, roughly a 50–70 minute drive depending on traffic. Within about 15 km are Montecatini Terme (thermal spa town with tourist services and an important train junction) and Pescia (market town with a local historic centre and a plant‑nursery economy). Pistoia is a provincial capital with a medieval cathedral and baptistery, Ospedale del Ceppo, a railway station with direct trains to Florence and Lucca, and standard municipal services. The area around Pistoia and Pescia is a major Italian plant‑nursery and horticulture district. The A11 Firenze‑Mare motorway runs close to the city, giving fast road links to Florence and Pisa.
