Via Arnaldo Merlini, 13, Terre Roveresche

This is hilly inland Marche in the lower Valcesano, with cultivated ridges and small valleys running toward the Adriatic. The Cesano river is the main watercourse of the area. Within about 15 km are Mondavio and Corinaldo, both with intact walled historic centres; Mondavio is known for the Rocca Roveresca and Corinaldo is listed among I Borghi più belli d'Italia and has Bandiera Arancione status. Fossombrone, the nearest larger town inland, has a full set of services and a substantial historic centre on the Metauro corridor. The area is known for mixed farming, olive groves and vineyards typical of the inland hills between the Cesano and Metauro valleys.
