Terreno con progetto approvato a Modica

The area sits in the Hyblaean plateau, with limestone hills cut by ravines. The Tellaro and Irminio river valleys are part of this south-eastern Sicilian landscape, and the Mediterranean coast is about 12 km away. Modica itself is one of the late Baroque towns of the Val di Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a large historic centre spread along a deep valley. Ragusa is nearby as the main town of size, with full services and another major Baroque historic centre. The area is known for Hyblaean dry-stone countryside, carob and olive cultivation, and Modica chocolate.
