Terratetto plurifamiliare in Montelibretti

The Sabine hills begin around Montelibretti, with low ridges, olive groves and cultivated valleys. The Tiber valley lies nearby, and the Farfa river valley is within this part of the Sabina. The Lucretili Mountains are the nearest named range, rising to the east within about this radius, with the Monte Catillo and Monti Lucretili regional protected areas farther along the same belt. Palombara Sabina is the nearest historic town of note in this area, with a castle and a substantial old centre. The wider area is known for olive oil and for the Sabina countryside north-east of Rome.
