NETTUNO Villino

This is on the coastal plain south of Rome, with the Tyrrhenian coast and the Riviera di Ulisse shoreline at Anzio and Nettuno within the local area. The coast here is low and sandy rather than cliffed, with long beaches and the port of Anzio. The area is tied to the coastal towns of Anzio and Nettuno, which have marinas, beaches, rail links to Rome, and the historic center and fortress area at Nettuno. The Anzio–Nettuno coast is known for the Allied landings of 1944 and for its fishing port.
