Strada Comunale Spaccatore, Oliveto Citra

The cluster sits on the upper Sele river plain in inland Salerno; the Sele river runs through the valley nearby. Contursi Terme (thermal baths and a railway station) is a few kilometres from Oliveto Citra. The Tyrrhenian coast is about 30 km to the west. The immediate area is agricultural: olive groves and arable fields dominate, with scattered small villages and low hills. The A2 motorway corridor serves the area, with the Contursi/Sicignano interchanges providing road links toward Salerno and Naples. The nearest larger town for wider services is Eboli (supermarkets, municipal services), reachable by a short drive.
