Rustico in Comano Terme

The cluster sits in the Giudicarie area on the southern/ western fringe of the Brenta Dolomites; the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park lies within a short drive and Brenta-group massifs are the nearest named mountains. Tributary valleys of the Sarca/Chiese drainage run through the district. Comano Terme is the local spa town and hosts the Terme di Comano, an established thermal centre noted for dermatological treatments for children. Local land use is mixed mountain agriculture, forests and hill pasture; hiking and mountain-biking trails start from nearby villages. The nearest local service town is Tione di Trento; the provincial capital Trento (regional rail connections, university and larger hospital services) lies further to the east. Nearest major alpine ski complexes (Madonna di Campiglio/Pinzolo) are reachable by car in roughly 40–60 minutes.
