The cluster lies in the Canavese area at the edge of the Po plain, with the Graian Alps visible to the north and west. The Malone stream runs through Front and joins the Orco nearby; the Orco valley opens toward the lower Alpine valleys around Rivarolo Canavese and Cuorgnè. The nearest town of some size is Ciriè, with rail links, shops and services, and Rivarolo Canavese is the main small centre for the upper Canavese plain.
