The cluster lies in the Piave valley at the northern foot of the Monte Grappa massif; Monte Grappa and its summit military ossuary (Sacrario) are within about 15 km. The Piave river flows through the valley nearby. The local landscape is a transition from low agricultural and vine-covered hills to pre-Alpine slopes of Monte Grappa. Montebelluna (about 10 km) is the nearest town of size and has shops, services and a train station. Bassano del Grappa (around 15 km) is the nearest larger historic town, known for its covered wooden bridge (Ponte degli Alpini) and food and spirits production. Asolo (about 10 km) is a nearby hill town with a historic centre. The area has visible World War I sites and memorials on Monte Grappa and a local economy mixing agriculture and light industry (notably footwear/sports manufacturing around Montebelluna).
