Vallio - villetta bifamiliare

The area is the flat lower plain between Treviso and the Venetian lagoon, with cultivated land, drainage canals and the Sile river system nearby. The Sile Regional Natural Park begins a short distance west around Quarto d'Altino and Casale sul Sile, where the river and its banks are the main landscape feature of this part of the province. Treviso is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic centre, city walls, canals and services. Venice and the lagoon are part of daily logistics from here but they are outside the immediate 15 km landscape and do not raise the score. The area is known for agriculture and for Veneto villas in the countryside, including the castle complex at Roncade.
