Villa a schiera in Muzzana del Turgnano

The cluster lies in the lower Friulian plain near the Stella river system and the Marano Lagoon. The Laguna di Marano is within this radius, with channels, reed beds and fishing valleys on the inland side of the northern Adriatic. The area is part of the flat Bassa Friulana landscape of fields, drainage canals and scattered villages. Lignano Sabbiadoro is the nearest sizeable seaside town, with marina and beach services, but it sits beyond the immediate rural landscape. The area is known for lagoon fishing, wetland environments and broad agricultural plain.
