Location score 94/100The cluster is in the Dolomites, with the Sella group, Col di Lana and other high limestone massifs within the local 15 km landscape. The Cordevole valley runs through the area. Part of the territory lies inside the Dolomiti d'Ampezzo Natural Park system and the wider Dolomites are a UNESCO World Heritage site. Arabba is the local service village and a major ski base, with lifts in or immediately above the settlement linking into the Sellaronda circuit. The area is known for high mountain passes including Pordoi, Campolongo and Falzarego, for winter skiing, and for First World War sites around Col di Lana.
