The Alta Valsessera and Alta Valstrona regional natural park lies within this mountain area. The Bielmonte ski lifts are the nearest developed ski area, roughly 30–40 minutes by road from the upper Cervo valley depending on the hamlet. Biella is the nearest town of size, with full services, rail connections and a substantial historic centre.
