Bilocale in Via della Chimica

The cluster sits in and around Maranello, a town that is home to the Ferrari factory and the Museo Ferrari. The immediate surroundings are the Po Valley plain made up of agricultural land, light-industrial estates and small residential centres. Sassuolo, a nearby town known for its large ceramic-tile industry, lies within the local area. Modena is the nearest city of size and offers railway connections, university faculties and the Romanesque cathedral that is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Modenese Apennine foothills rise to the south beyond the plain; higher slopes and winter-sport areas are farther into the Apennines. The area is known locally for motor engineering (Ferrari and related suppliers), ceramic manufacture around Sassuolo, and food products from the Modena area such as traditional balsamic vinegar and Parmigiano-Reggiano production.
