The area is close to the Corno alle Scale massif and regional park, which lie within roughly 15 km to the south; the nearest ski lifts are at Corno alle Scale, about 30–40 minutes by road from Vergato. Vergato is the nearest service town and has rail links along the Porrettana line, shops and everyday services.
