The cluster is on the north coast of Sicily on the Tyrrhenian, with long sea views and the Aeolian Islands visible offshore in clear weather. The Nebrodi mountains rise immediately inland, and the eastern Nebrodi with towns such as Naso and Mirto are within the local hinterland. The Parco dei Nebrodi begins inland from the coast and is within the wider 15 km surroundings on the mountain side. Capo d'Orlando itself is the nearest town of size and has a marina, seafront, rail station and daily services. This stretch of coast is known for citrus, olive groves and the transition from the Tyrrhenian shore to the Nebrodi slopes.
