What it really costs
Can you move in?
Livable, but something basic is worn out
See what needs doing and what each job costs
This is a genuinely habitable, furnished village home with a strong panoramic view across the Emilia-Romagna hills, plus a balcony, heating, garage and cellar. The interiors are practical rather than spectacular and somewhat dated, but there is no sign of a major renovation project—making the setting and livability a convincing combination at this price.
- Interiors are clean and usable but dated and quite plain.
- No private garden is shown; outdoor space appears limited to the balcony and shared/paved frontage.
- Verify the condition of the roof, utilities, garage and any village access or condominium arrangements.
The area around
Location score 68/100The cluster is in the Val Trebbia, with the first ridges of the Ligurian Apennines around it. The Trebbia river runs through the area, with gravel banks and a broad valley floor near Travo. Farther up the valley, within this part of the inland Piacenza area, there are wooded slopes, sandstone and ophiolite outcrops, and a sequence of small historic villages. Bobbio is the nearest town of note in the valley, with a substantial historic centre and the abbey complex of San Colombano. The area is known in Emilia for the Trebbia valley landscape and for outdoor use of the river in summer.
