Monolocale in Ficarazzi

The cluster is in the Conca d’Oro on the Tyrrhenian side of Sicily, in the built-up plain east of Palermo. The Oreto valley and the low hills behind the coast frame the area, and the sea is close at the Gulf of Palermo. Palermo is the nearest city and has the full range of services, a large historic centre, port, rail links and airport access. This stretch is known for the metropolitan fringe of Palermo rather than for a distinct rural or protected landscape within the immediate area.
