Mansarda in Cepagatti

The cluster lies in the low inland belt between the Pescara valley and the first Abruzzo hills, with the Maiella massif visible to the southwest on clear days but outside the immediate local landscape. The Pescara River runs through the provincial corridor nearby. The nearest city of size is Pescara, which has the main rail station, airport, port and full urban services for the area. Chieti is also nearby on its ridge with a substantial historic centre and university functions. This part of inland Pescarese is known for mixed farmland, small hill settlements and commuter links toward the Adriatic coast.
