Panoramico e subito abitabile

Monte Caputo rises immediately above the area, on the slopes that lead into the mountains west of Palermo. The Belice-Carboj and western Sicani reliefs are farther away and do not define the immediate 15 km setting. Palermo is the nearest city of size and has the full range of services, a major historic centre, port, rail connections and airport access. Monreale is nearby and its cathedral and Arab-Norman ensemble are UNESCO listed. The area is known for its position on the inland edge of the Conca d’Oro behind Palermo rather than for a distinct rural landscape of its own.
