Quadrilocale in Gubbio

Monte Ingino rises directly above Gubbio, with the Umbrian-Marche Apennines close to the east. The Camignano valley and the Chiascio basin shape the immediate landscape. The Monte Cucco Regional Park lies within this radius to the northeast, covering limestone mountains, forests and karst plateaus. The nearest ski area is Monte Cucco, with small lifts around Val di Ranco at roughly 30–40 minutes by road. Gubbio itself is the nearest town of size, with a large medieval centre, the Palazzo dei Consoli, and a steep street pattern running up the hillside. Gubbio is known for the Corsa dei Ceri and for its medieval stone townscape.
