Via Fratta, 28, Umbertide

The upper Tiber valley lies around Umbertide, with wooded hills and cultivated slopes rather than high mountains. The River Tiber passes through the area. Monte Tezio Regional Park is nearby to the southeast, and the northern Umbrian hills toward Montone and Preggio are within the same inland landscape. Perugia is the nearest larger city, with a full historic centre, services and rail links. Montone, within the local area, is listed among I Borghi più belli d’Italia. This part of northern Umbria is known for tobacco and olive growing, mixed woodland, and small hill settlements in the Tiber valley.
