Appartamento in Brienza

The cluster is in the Lucanian Apennines, in a hill-and-mountain interior of wooded slopes, cultivated clearings and small valleys. The Pergola-Melandro area lies here, with the Melandro valley running nearby, and the southern Basilicata mountains fill much of the horizon. Brienza itself is a hill town with a substantial medieval centre and a castle above the settlement. Potenza is the nearest city of size, with full services and rail connections. The area is known for inland mountain landscapes, forests and hill towns rather than for a single standout landmark inside the immediate radius.
