Appartamento in Potenza

The cluster is in the built-up area of Potenza, so the resident setting is an inland provincial city on steep slopes in the Lucanian Apennines rather than open countryside. The Basento valley and the surrounding Apennine ridges shape the area immediately around the city. Parco Nazionale dell'Appennino Lucano Val d'Agri Lagonegrese lies to the south-west within the wider mountain district. The nearest substantial town is Potenza itself, the regional capital, with the usual administrative services, rail connections and hospitals. This part of Basilicata is known for mountain terrain and forested inland landscapes rather than for a single standout landmark inside the urban area.
