The cluster lies in the Agro Nocerino plain at the foot of the Monti Lattari. The Sarno river system crosses this plain. The Monti Lattari Regional Park begins nearby on the ridge line above the plain. The nearest coast is the Gulf of Salerno, with the urban shore around Salerno and Vietri sul Mare nearby, but the main scenic coast of the Amalfi side is beyond the 15 km landscape radius. Cava de' Tirreni and Salerno are the nearest larger centres, with full services, rail links and hospitals. Nocera and the surrounding plain are known for intensive cultivation and for the canned-tomato district of the Agro Nocerino-Sarnese.
