Via delle Carenarie, 22, Fiumicino

The Tyrrhenian coast and the mouth of the Tiber (Tevere) form the immediate landscape. The Riserva Naturale Statale del Litorale Romano / Parco Regionale del Litorale Romano runs along this stretch of coast and includes dune systems and coastal pinewoods. Rome–Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) international airport sits on the comune territory and is the main local employer and transport hub. The archaeological site and museum of Ostia Antica lie within roughly 10–15 km. The local port at Fiumicino serves fishing and small-scale commercial traffic and there are beach localities such as Focene and Fregene a few kilometres along the shore. Rail (FL1 suburban line) and the A91 autoroute provide direct links to central Rome.
