Via Saturno, Capaccio Paestum

The cluster is in the Cilento area, with low coastal hills and the Tyrrhenian shore close by. The coast here is the Gulf of Salerno, with beaches around Agropoli and the headland below the old town. The Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni begins inland and covers much of the surrounding interior. Paestum lies nearby and is a UNESCO World Heritage site for its Greek temples and archaeological area. Agropoli is the nearest town of size, with a marina, rail station, services, and a walled historic core on the headland. The area is known for the Cilento coast, olive groves, and access to the Paestum plain and the inland national-park hills.
