Via Amilcare Ponchielli, 52, Statte

The cluster lies on the inland side of the Gulf of Taranto, in the plain and low limestone ridge country west of Taranto. The area is tied to the Gravine landscape of this part of Puglia, with ravines cut into the limestone plateau; the regional context is the Terra delle Gravine area. Taranto is the nearest city of size, with the historic centre on the two seas, port facilities, major services and rail connections. This part of the province is known for olives, vineyards and the industrial-port belt around Taranto.
