The area sits on the western Brescian plain at the edge of Franciacorta, with low morainic hills and intensive farmland around the built-up area. Lake Iseo begins within this radius on its southern side near Paratico and Sarnico. The Oglio River runs nearby as the outlet of Lake Iseo and marks the western side of this part of the province.
