Via Clotes, 42, Sauze d'Oulx

The cluster sits in the Val di Susa within the Cottian Alps. The Dora Riparia runs down the valley floor below. Ski lifts and downhill pistes serve Sauze d'Oulx directly and the local lift network is linked into the Via Lattea (Milky Way) ski domain. The Via Lattea connects Sauze d'Oulx with Sestriere and Claviere and crosses into France at Montgenèvre; Sestriere was a venue for the 2006 Winter Olympics. Oulx is the nearest town with a railway station on the Turin–Bardonecchia line, providing regional trains to Turin and onward to France. The area is used for winter skiing and for summer hiking and mountain biking tied to the lift network.
