Occasione a Conegliano

The site sits at the edge of the rolling vineyards and low hills that form the southern foothills of the Venetian Prealps. The Piave River runs within the surrounding plain and valley system. Conegliano itself is a hilltown with a medieval castle on the hill, a cathedral, the historic Istituto (Scuola) Enologica, and a railway station with regional links toward Treviso and Venice. The hillside area between Conegliano and nearby Valdobbiadene is a UNESCO World Heritage Site named "Le Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene." The hills around Conegliano are part of the Prosecco DOCG/DOC producing area and are served by local wine routes (Strada del Prosecco) and associated agritourism and wine-tourism facilities. No alpine ski lifts lie within the 15 km radius.
